It wasn't as if it was far to go, just a few doors down but it felt like a lifetime to get there. After heading for the door and then doubling back to his own apartment more than a few times he found himself at the other nation's door, surprised that he was already swinging open the door.
He reached up to pull at the collar of his turtleneck just a little, he was sweating but he would brush it off if asked. Or at least try. He could have made eye contact with the other man, but for some reason he felt that it was a dangerous move that would betray him. As if contacting France out of the blue wasn't suspicious enough. ]
